First time you boot it up will stay stuck in a black screen. Just close it and open it again, it will work.

The first time you open KF2 it will show up as a little window in a corner of the screen, give it some time and it will start with the boot-up logos and then a black screen. Quit out the game and re-open, it will boot faster and almost directly to the game menu, constant FPS with the recommended settings.
