Only reason it had a question mark is because no one else made a report yet
Just a small tip. If you are playing on a different system as well, just make sure you use a resolution Steam Deck supports otherwise it doesn't fit the screen properly. Other than that, no issues whatsoever.
Switched the action of the triggers
Highly recommend using the Dreamcast layout (Modern) for controls. After getting used to it, the game simply works perfectly. Don't know if the widescreen/60fps/quick save patch was ported to Linux, but even without that it still works pretty well.
Game runs perfectly on the Steam Deck. Not a single issue found on my entire playthrough
Despite the slowdowns (probably because that's how the game runs anyway) the game runs just fine.
There's a huge chance this is how the game runs no matter the system (NEO GEO was infamous for slow downs in some games, especially Metal Slug ones)
After changing the resolution to the highest supported one, the small window fills the screen entirely and the game runs smoothly.
It's probably the way the game is but controls are a bit too floaty and oversensitive by default
Game runs just fine except the pre-rendered cutscenes that are very low resolution (it's a very old game). But if I remember correctly no other cutscene aside from the intro is pre-rendered in the game.
