When launching, it prompts to install .NET Core, but then just opens a webpage with noclear instructions about which version to download
Tried several versions of proton: 5.13, 6.3, Experimental and Glorious Eggrolls 6.1, 6.9, and 6.18
Looks great at low graphics settings and sips power that way too. I played all the way through at 30 FPS. Use the in-game frame limiter since it results in lower input latency, but I also used the system frame limiter to slightly improve frame-time consistency without any noticeable increase in latency.
Both multiplayer and singleplayer work
I had to turn graphics quality down too low to avoid stuttering later on in matches.
The Origin Launcher tries to install itself, but crashes when the loading bar reaches the end. The next launch, Origin Prompts to install itself again.
Set the 30fps lock using the in-game settings. This seems to give better response times than the system-wide limiter, and this game can't reliably achieve 40fps even on the lowest settings.
Sometimes I wind up stuck on the Origin launcher for some reason or another. One time it asked me to login, when I'm pretty sure I've never logged in to Origin before. These issues can usually be fixed by just restarting the game.

The Origin launcher fails to start if I have tiled window management enabled (using Bismuth on KDE)
For about a day, I was unable to get past the Lucas Arts splash logo. Then I switched proton versions to experimental and back to GE and everything works fine now.
The Origin launcher creates an excessive number of invisible windows (6, currently) that make Alt-Tabbing slightly annoying.

Without using Proton-GE, the game crashes while starting up every time.
There's a chain of issues. Mouse lagginess -> game eventually crashes -> eventually the game won't start.
Occasionally the mouse pointer would start flickering, and then mouse movement would become laggy. Sometimes this would fix itself after a couple seconds, but the game had to be restarted most of the time.
Frequent crashes made it impossible to make it through a single skirmish battle without saving and reloading.
After a few crashes, I found it impossible to restart the game. These crashes happened after >60 hours of no crashes or issues starting the game, so it may have to do with a new combination of distro+proton version.
Hardware mouse flickers, so it's best to go into settings and enable the software mouse, even though the cursor ends up lagging a little
Doesn't play any audio when headphones are plugged in
Given how beautiful the music is, not having audio is a major detractor
