Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton7-8

Windowed mode does not work
Did not bother tinkering with windowed mode. Use widescreen patch to enjoy high resolution widescreen gaming experience. Download here. I used "Pharaoh Resizer by Crudelios" to create an .exe file for 3440 x 1440 and it worked like a charm

To fix black screen/crashing when alt-tabbing:
protontricks -lto get id of steam gameprotontricks -c winecfg 564530to launch wine cofnig for pharaoh- Go to
Graphicstab - Enable
Emulate a vistual desktop - Enter desired resolution
Windowing:Switching
Alt-tab leaves game with unrecoverable black screen. See provided steps for fix
