So far, the game works fine on my system. Only problem is the grass, which doesn't show up (any more... it showed up earlier I think).

Regarding performance, I didn't compare it to Windows on the same system. However, I did test it on a laptop with a weak gpu, too. Turned out that the performance difference is quite noticeable compared to Windows there.
