Upon launching it took a while to start responding, so give it some time and don't force quit it right away.
With the default Proton Version, there is a lengthy startup time during which the game does not respond. It's perfectly possible to play without forcing an older Proton Version, just give it some time (~30s by my estimate) to get started.
Using an older Version also produced a slight delay between launching the game and it actually starting, but when it did start, it immediately responded.
Smooth experience, no significant issues
Permanent spacebar signal after accidentally putting headset on keyboard for a while, didn't seem to stop when switching windows or affect other programs. Fixed after restart. Might be an input queue issue - I didn't wait around to see if it would eventually stop.
Aside from that minor input issue, it's running smoothly so far. Just don't keep any key pressed for an excessive time and you should be fine.
