I was able to play for about a minute until I was kicked
They probably didn't enable Proton support in the beta's anti cheat, hopefully they will at launch.
Games won't launch but menu works
Whenever a game is launched a popup that says "NoticeMsg__CONFIRM_NO_SPACE_STORAGE” appears.

Steam says it launches, the game shows up in System Monitor, but nothing actually opens.

Singleplayer works, multiplayer freezes when entering a room.

If the game crashes/freezes when connecting to a match or room, set Connection Speed Restrictions to +1
The game won't launch without tweaking because the game's built in GameCube controller support is incompatible with Linux/Proton.

You need Proton GE and Media Foundation to run this game.

If installing media foundation doesn't work, try replacing this game's advertise.usm file with Yakuza 3's.
