Game runs perfectly (seem to be running sligthly better than on Windows on my side). We just reached the end game, both on Arch Linux using Hyprland and no crash or major bugs to report (all the bugs we had were game bugs and had nothing to do with Linux).
Only tinkering needed was to set up gamescope with the correct resolution in the launch command of Steam otherwise we would get an error about incompatible display and the game would not launch at all.
gamemoderun gamescope -H 1440 -W 2560 -r 144 -f -- %comman%
Works perfectly fine. Haven't tried without the gamescope launch command since I use it by default for every game (it helps fixing a lot of issues related to windows management on Hyprland). No bugs to report, was able to play from beginning to end anywhere from 80 to 100 fps on a RTX 7800XT.
Works perfectly out of the box. Personnaly launching steam with "gamescope -h 1440 -w 2560 -r 120 -f -e --steam -steamos3 -steamdeck" So in my case, I need to add "SteamDeck=0 %command%" to get all the graphics options in game.
But if you're on a X11 environment, gamescope is not needed and if you launch the normal version of Steam, the game launch option isn't necessary either.
For better performance, I recommend TSR at 75% resolution if you're on AMD hardware. Better performance than Xess and a lot less ghosting although the image is very slightly softer.
gamescope -w 2560 -h 1440 -r 144 -f -- %command%
Game works great under Proton 6.3-8 Proton experimental doesn't work at all (can sign in but game doesn't launch past launcher) and there is a bug with the version in between where the mouse always stays visible in the center of the screen when moving the camera.
