Very washed-out and dim HDR with xwayland but works great with winewayland
HDR works only in fullscreen (sadly no 4K HDR in borderless but still looks great at native 1440p), when using winewayland I'm sometimes getting short white flashes when something happens on the desktop or my game is unfocused
Steam Overlay/Input doesn't work with winewayland, it's an Xorg application
The game on Steam doesn't fully close when using winewayland, have to kill it manually from the Steam UI
GPU overclocked to 2700 MHz, VRAM to 2500 MHz and undervolted by 125 mV using LACT
Works out of the box in normal conditions, my default Proton was GE, but normally it would choose the recommended one and work well.

Looks worse on DX12 with no upscaling or DSR, same settings as DX11.
At first launch the game froze when changing fullscreen settings, it didn't happen again, though.
Major stutters when using Proton-GE, locked to 90 fps (higher limits result in fps fluctuation=stuttering) and after some time it began stuttering every few seconds to 40-70 fps and going back to 90 for a moment. Fixed by using Proton Hotfix, now it's buttery smooth with stable 90 fps, with occasional 1-3 fps drops but not really visible on a 165Hz screen. The graph is now almost flat and the game plays great. Might also try Proton Experimental and the latest stable to see if it's any better or worse than Hotfix. All on Uber+ settings and DX11. DX12 loses more than half the performance and looks worse on the same settings (no DSR or upscaling). Don't bother with DX12 if you have an older card AND your card doesn't support RT and framegen, just use DX11.
Skipping the launcher and setting DX11 as default is the same as on Windows. Other than that, the game works out of the box with the recommended Proton choice. Performance settings and the fps limit depend on your hardware, but that's in-game settings.
