After Recent Update game needed to be forced to use proton Experimental in steam game settings but once you have done this it runs perfectly
Force Proton Experimental
-nosplash and -skipintro in launch options and typing sudo sysctl -w vm.max_map_count=1048576 into terminal. Game then runs perfectly
On max settings I am getting 100 > 130 fps 1080p with OBS recording
Once you get past the long load times it is playable but it seems more work is needed to get this into an acceptable state
tried various tweaks to Fallout76Prefs.ini, Fallout76.ini and Fallout76Custom.ini located in folder similar to this "SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata/1151340/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/Fallout 76/" may be different for you
Slow fps on fullscreen , switch to windowless boarder fixes this problem
Fast travel loading times can be as long as 5 mins or under 1 it seems to be random chance and not specific to built up areas or long distance fast travels > i notice when long load times occure nvtop shows gpu usage sags to under 20% and video memory goes to 100% pushing some cpu cores to 90%. Not sure what thats about as its the only game i have seen cause this, including far more graphics intense games than this.
Slow load times can be annoying and can ruin team runs
