This is only true with Proton 6.3.8 and the potato config. With newer versions of Proton and GE, I would get horrible FPS during large-scale combat.
Some of the cutscenes have weird, blocky artifacts during the action. Not a big deal.
The game doesn't seem to have vsync by default. It's designed to run at 60 FPS, but often speeds up to 120+, which affects the player mostly while moving around the map. Sometimes it affects cutscenes, though, like a character will proceed to their next dialogue audio while the previous one is still playing, overlapping them.
The following is copied from someone on the Steam forums:
The fix that I found was to modify ~/.config/unity3d/Harebrained Schemes/SRHK/prefs. It's an XML file with two applicable elements: XXXX XXXX
This was important because my game started at 3840 width, as if it was trying to occupy the space of both of my monitors. Trouble is it showed only on my right monitor, and it was showing the left half of the game's screenspace only, so I couldn't even reach the settings button.
