Works natively on linux:

1. Use the "x86_64 - Chromium (...)" beta branch (in "Properties -> Betas")
2. Force compatibility tool "Legacy runtime 1.0"
3. Apply fix from https://github.com/solsticegamestudios/GModCEFCodecFix

Any other combination on native crashed for me in some stage of the flow.

Major performance issues if using Proton, but it works. Wouldn't recommend, since native is available.
