40hz/40fps. 10W TDP
40FPS for around 75% of the game but there are parts of the game that will cause the FPS drop as low as the 20s.
FMV cutscenes require Proton GE to work. (I used GE-Proton8-25)
Completed the game from start to finish. Locked the game to 40fps/40hz (10w TDP) and it retained it a majority of the time. Expect at least 3+ hours of battery depending on what is happening in the scene.
Minor brief FPS drops usually occur when transitioning from one set piece to another. Major FPS drops (As low as 18-20fps) happen during moments when there are multiple assets moving at the same time (e.g: When a monitor is shown in game and you need to control actions on that screen as well as the primary character).
Only ran into one freeze during my entire playthrough which occurred just before a chapter ended. Game was enjoyable and mostly stable. Just don't expect full 40fps throughout the entire game during the intense scenes.
Follow x9sim9's instructions
Game runs great at 60fps. Great battery life. Just make sure to use x9sim9's suggestion to fix the FMV's.
Set FPS to 45 & TDP Limit to 9
Runs really well on the Steam Deck OLED so far with no need to tinker any default settings. Have played around 2 hours in the opening area and noticed some fps drops below 60 once you reach the first Leyline (at a 9 watt TDP). Can be fixed by increasing the TDP limit but I think playing this at a 45fps/9 watt TDP is the sweet spot for performance and battery life. (Averages over 4 hours of play time at around 12.5ish max total power draw)
Runs solid on ROG Ally X (Bazzite)
No cloud save support
Played through the main game and DLC with no issues.
Games a bit power hungry so applied a 12w TDP Limit.
19-20w total power draw nets around 3-4 hours of battery and averages between 30-40fps. (Although not really noticeable given it's essentially a visual novel).
Game runs perfectly on the Steam Deck OLED however you will need to use Proton GE to make cutscenes display correctly.
7w TDP limit + 60fps cap
Cutscenes were initially displaying inverted and upside down. Using Proton GE 9-10 allowed these to finally display properly (NOTE: The cutscene will have a whitish pixel look for the first 2 seconds, however it clears up immediately and the rest plays out fine)
Switched to a community controller profile for controls.
Finished one whole story route and ran into no other issues. Great game for the Deck.
Used latest GE Proton (GE-Proton9-12) to allow FMV's to load
Played through the entire game on the ROG Ally X using Bazzite and the game ran flawlessly.
Installed the JP dub files without issue as well.
Resolution set at 1080p + Settings as highest.
Set the TDP Limit to 5w to get great battery life - although probably unneeded (10+ hours on full charge at only 7-8w total power draw).
Also set FPS Limit to 60 and it remained that way for 99% of the game (only slowing down when lots of enemies or particle effects were on screen - should be easily solved by increasing TDP).
