Game works online with no issues with Flatpak version of steam using bleeding-edge Proton Experimental. Stuttering and performance issues, but those seem inherent to the game as they also exist on Windows.
EAC does not work on Arch even with bleeding edge experimental enabled if using the AUR version of steam. Installed the flatpak steam and was able to boot and go online immediately.
Forced Proton Experimental to bleeding edge beta. Have not tried without this. Works on par with my Windows install of the game.

Enabled Feral Gamemode. My last few sessions in linux have been flawless. Little to no stuttering/frame drops, and any framedrops that do happen are also happening on my Windows install. Really great performance.
Now runs flawlessly with default settings. No launch options in Steam, using Proton 7.0. Out of the box zero issues.
