This game is still unplayable on Linux, even though the devs said it would be.
The Apex Legends experience on Linux is near-flawless experience, if you add that cache file.

The game was a stuttery mess until I copied over a cache file from Reddit. After that, it was flawless, considering my hardware.
I had one crash when leaving a match, but my friend says the experience is similar on Windows.
It worked perfectly. I was able to queue up with my friends on Windows and XBone, and join a match just like normal. The game crashed once when leaving a match, but after that, I had no problems with it.
It seems like Respawn removing the EAC library was an honest mistake. In the latest update, they have added it back, and the game works really well.
Runs great, online works well. Glad they fixed the beta issues!
Had to toggle full screen twice to get the login screen to work, but no in-game issues.
The hourly crashing makes it a bad experience.
After about 45 minutes of gameplay, ff my power level changes (so changing gear or leveling up), the game would crash with an ntdll.dll error (though the crash reporter wouldn't show up, I had to manually check the files).
I have a pending 520 NVIDIA driver update and I just did a game update, so I will create a new entry if this fixes anything.
