Had trouble with how the display looked and took a while to figure things out. First issue was that HDR was on (as it should be for a game this beautiful), but Adaptive Brightness was enabled. Disabling that and maxing the Brightness make a big difference.
Kudos to my roommate, she figured out what was going on with the text. The option Dynamic Resolution Scaling was enabled, and it appears that it was trying to upscale/ downscale certain things like text, despite the game being configured to use the native resolution. Disabling that, most text is fine now and I don't feel like I'm getting eye strain when playing.
The Microsoft login only works with paying credentials via mouse. Neither virtual nor Bluetooth keyboards will work with it.
Disabled Adaptive Brightness and Dynamic Resolution Scaling.
Keyboards don't work on Microsoft login.
