ARMA: Gold Edition
Bronze
Launch Flags:Use D9VK
After manually adding the cd key to the registry, and adding the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\VideoMemorySize with the memory of my video card in MB, the game would start, but with a black void for 3d rendering(a change from the usual fog-colored void). Enabling D9VK however causes the game world to render correctly, and I can even make a basic mission in the editor and start to run it. However, it crashes frequently.

Combat Mission Black Sea
With the cAlphaShift patch compiled in to proton, the game starts and runs, I was able to play singleplayer fine.
Customizations:
cAlphaShift patch: https://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-bugs/2017-May/470327.html required to launch the game itself.
Graphics:Minor Artifacts
game world sometimes LODs, becoming low-res then high-res again. does not impact gameplay.
Significant Bugs:
Opening the steam overlay breaks the game, so I disabled it. Switching workspaces in i3-wm worked fine.
