game works perfectly fine performance-wise. had to use proton for issues binding keys and had to force resolution using a config file.
Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: Proton Hotfix, Changed configuration
changed the resolution from the configuration file in ~/.local/share/steam/steamapps/compatdata
Windowing:Other
when using proton, game didnt let me choose my highest resolution (1920x1080). i had to force it using the settings.ini file in the compatdata folder.

game didnt let me use the side buttons of my mouse on steam linux runtime 1.0 (scout), that's why i changed to proton in the first place
if you dont have any problems with keybinding, game works perfectly fine without any tinkering.
