I played the demo version released for Steam Next Fest.
Control Notes The menu screen did not work with "controller" controls. I first played using the mouse emulator (steam + trackpad). This worked okay, but there was some noticeable input delay.
Once in game, I found the touchscreen worked great for selecting dialogue options. The joysticks also started working at some point for selecting various in game menus.
Once you get to the dispatcher gameplay, controls get more difficult. Touchscreen is good for most of what you do, but I did play a hacking minigame that required a combination of joystick + guessing buttons. If the game asks you to click "E", that is mapped to R1 (right bumper) by default.
The issue is getting two control schemes to work at the same time. I rigged it by setting up the game with standard controls and then signing in as player two by using the mouse + keyboard, but it was not really playable that way.
I played on the free Steam Next Fest demo version. The game ran perfect after switching to Proton Experimental!
Note, the game will not launch using the default launcher.
I played a demo as part of Steam Next Fest. The game runs perfectly on Steam Deck with no changes.
