The game didn't seem to install properly, thank you Steam. Trying to play the game past the main menu or run a benchmark test would cause an instant crash and tinkering with the launch options and Proton versions did nothing. A file validation revealed that there were 16 faulty files that needed to be redownloaded, not sure if it's because they were corrupted or just flat out missing. After the files were installed properly (only took a minute or so luckily) the game and the benchmark ran perfectly without any stability, audio, or graphical issues. Runs the same as it did on Windows, at least from my experience. Worth checking all files are validated if you have any problems, just incase Steam does you a dirty like it did to me and doesn't install the game correctly.
