Proton Experimental seemed to fix the major graphic bug.

Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental

Launching normally presented 2D graphics fine, but 3D didn't show at all. Forcing experimental fixed that, and while there's no deck specific UI for inputs, the game works perfectly with trackpad input.
