I'm not sure if it is necessary, but i did navigate the menus blind and changed from windowed to fullscreen in another proton version where the game only displayed a black screen. To do this (if it is even necessary) assign these keys temporarily: S D I O from the keyboard. To navigate the menu blind do this: Wait until the intro of the game plays and when it is silent you should be in the main menu, from here press these keys to navigate and switch to fullscreen: S S I D D D I D And that should toggle fullscreen on. (Again, I'm unsure if this is even necessary but ill leave the fix here in case it helps someone)
