Was playable and was able to reach the ending of the game. However, the game occasionally froze for me during long play times of more than 2 or 3 hours. I also experienced a single crash at the start of the game when running in Vulkan mode. Play with a gamepad worked normally.
Game does not even open. Crashes after hitting the play button in Steam. Game is bundled with SafeDisc copy protection program, which may be related to why the game does not start.
As mentioned in previous posts: Game runs perfectly, but without music. To get music to play, install winetricks and run the following from a console: WINEPREFIX="/home//.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/39150/pfx" winetricks (This is assuming you installed steam in the default location under your home directory). Select the default wine prefix and install the directmusic component, then "run winecfg"; type and add ddraw and dsound. Set dsound to "builtin" and ddraw to "native". Music and FMV mods work fine with the above tweaks. I spent some hours trying to get the Tonberry mod to work, but was unable to. Playing with an Xbox 360 controller works normally.
Game worked out of box with perfect performance. Played through to the end of the game using an Xbox 360 controller without issue.
Runs perfectly right out of the box. I played using an Xbox 360 controller with no issues.
Blank Screen after selecting the path you want to take
The game loads to the main menu screen. After selecting "Begin", the game asks how you want to start your journey. If you select either "Detective" or "Journalist" the game shows a blank screen and you are unable to play any further. This is the same even if you turn all graphics to their lowest. This was tested using Proton 5.8 Glorious Eggroll GE2-MF.
