Plays beautifully on Steam Deck, would highly recommend tinkering to get mods to work for the definitive experience.
Heavy game modding, modloader install and config changes
60FPS cap in SteamOS performance menu
Experienced quite a few crashes when first installing the mod loader, eventually after a lot of troubleshooting I fixed the issue by uncapping the framerate in the mod manager config then recapping it again using the SteamOS performance menu (necessary to cap it again otherwise the game will run way too fast because the physics are tied to the framerate)
I honestly believe that the Steam Deck is the best way to play this game in 2025. Took a few hours or so of troubleshooting to get mods to work, but the end result is very much worth it. Playing on a handheld with fixed cutscenes, rendering, fixes for bugs and broken mechanics and subtitles is awesome!
