Input lag when V-Sync is ON
Input lag on native version with V-Sync ON. With V-Sync OFF you can notice Screen Tearing and with a powerful GPU you have more fps than what your monitor may support.
To solve native version V-sync input lag issue:
- Start KDE Plasma >=5.23 WAYLAND session
- Go to: System Settings->Display and Monitor -> Display Settings
Then set: a. Refresh rate: 144hz (or whatever your monitor supports) b. Adaptive sync: always
- Turn in-game V-sync ON
Result:
- no input lag
- nice 144 fps game play
- no screen tearing
