Wallpaper Engine does not currently support Linux, although there are unofficial fixes.
- wallpaper-engine - Partially reproduces background wallpaper functionality. Works on all DEs, but is resource intensive and buggy.
- wallpaper-engine-kde-plugin - Will only work on KDE.
- xwinwrap + mpv (Reddit link) - Hacky way of using both programs to provide video backgrounds.
