Input is very delayed, characters on screen cause major slowdowns, shooting your gun causes slow downs. I ran CSGO just fine.

Players sometimes pop on screen when they weren't there before
Mouse and keyboard input delays were very noticeable. Unplayable.
Game seriously bogs whenever a player appears on screen. It wasn't this bad for CSGo but it's really bad for CS2. Can't even shoot properly.
Very poor performance. Would not recommend playing on the deck, even with external peripherals.

Cannot lower resolution below native when connected to external monitor.
Game runs at significantly low framerate, even with everything set to low. When an enemy appears on screen you will drop A LOT of frames.
Linux build is currently broken in that external monitors MUST have the game run at native resolution, otherwise your mouse input will be very broken.
VAC was unable to verify your files
Have had this issue for over a week now and I can't join any online matches. I can play with bots, but I can't play any game online. I've tried every single fix imaginable and nothing works.
Game runs around 30fps, and it goes in slow-mo because of this. I think the game's physics are tied to framerate and I can't get above 35fps on the deck.
Can't figure out how to change any graphics options, it seems to force the highest available for you. Also only launches in windowed mode, no fullscreen available that I could find.
On screen guides can be somewhat small, but it's mostly the same controls as Streets
Starts windowed, also runs at max resolution provided by your monitor. If you want better performance, decrease the window size in desktop mode.
This is an update to my previous report. I've fixed the slow-mo by decreasing the window size on desktop mode. Runs fine in game mode.
You will be ok if you're just playing casual, but the input and frame lag will be noticeable.
Game will be laggy, no matter how you run it. I have set everything to low and lowered my resolution, still has lag in game. This could be due to servers or hardware, but if you're anything above Diamond you will be hindered by the deck's performance, even with an external monitor.
If you're diamond or below you will be fine with playing this. Anything higher and you will be at a significant disadvantage.
Lag on controller. If you're diamond or below you won't notice it but anything higher and it will be a hinderance to your gameplay.
This game applies a 750MB patch every time it is launched or exited. It can take upwards of 5 minutes to actually launch the game depending on your internet speed.
Lag in game with controller.
I have tried this with an external screen and peripherals, and the lag is still noticeable. Also, it applying a 750MB patch before launching every time is very annoying.
I think it has native deck support now and you might not need proton. You will need proton if you weant to install mods though.
I installed Session Mod Loader
Can be hard to read on the deck screen but if you've played the game already you should be fine.
Highly recommend installing the Session Mod Loader for more maps, clothes, decks, etc. It's very easy to install, just make sure you download Version 3.0.5 from the github as that is the latest one that will work on deck. Once installed, add the .exe to your steam library and force it to use proton. Do the same for the Unreal Mod Unlocker and you're good to go. Do not launch the game from the Mod Manager though. It doesn't seem to work for me but launching through steam after adding my mods works fine.
You can run this game at a very low resolution with CPU and GPU set down to ~5 or so. Play around with it and it will be stable 40fps with very low battery drain.
Works great!!
You can play around with resolution and GPU/CPU max draw for better battery life. This game is pretty well optimized so it can run on lower specs.
