It won't work with DXVK enabled. I think it was also skipping movies. CONFIG.exe doesn't work in on windows, or on wine/proton. So we can't edit the configuration for toggling WMVs, or VSync like we can in A Clockwork Ley-Line: The Borderline of Dusk.

I went to the game directory. I renamed leylinelauncher.exe to leylinelauncher.exe.backup. I copied the CONFIG.exe to leylinelauncher.exe. So I could run it from steam. I then disabled WMV movies. Clicked save. Then I copied LayLine.exe to replace leylinelauncher.exe. This bypasses the launcher's error message. I left it in windowed mode. If you don't disable movies it'll crash to the desktop.
By default it uses leylinelauncher.exe and it's giving me an error message.
In desktop mode, I clicked maximize on the window and the game froze. In game mode everything appears full screen just fine.
The game will probably just give an error message or CTD without tweaking. I think movies are being skipped.
Controller input isn't detected just keyboard and mouse work.
The game doesn't give you a way to save or enter the menu in the visual novel sections. When you get to the RPG sections there is a menu you can save and exit there. Keybindings in the game are alittle confusing.
it's letterboxed around the entire game in game mode.
I had purchiced the game from a third party store and tried to run with Lutris first. It would crash to desktop as soon as it launched. But, after I bought it from steam it worked fine. Though I wish I could solve the not fully full screen issue.
Need to solve the video playing issue. To actually be able to play beyond a few minutes.
It seemed to freeze on a black screen when playing a video transistion.
I had to disable DXVK to get it to stop displaying the error "No Compatable DirectX installation found. Please install the current DirectX version.
