Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton10-3, Set launch options
LD_PRELOAD= PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 MANGOHUD=1 %command% -nojoy +mat_queue_mode 2

Only PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 is needed for Proton Wayland support
