I bounced between a couple versions of Proton trying to get this game to work. Some got stuck launching but I did get to the play menu with Proton Experimental. However, the tutorial would crash the game and skipping the tutorial would let me play until I would try to accept a quest.

Looking at newly rendered motorcycles cause the system to hang a second.
It took a couple of attempts to get this working but it seems to run fine now without any additional changes.
