Other than using forced older version of proton ( proton 5.13-6 ) and putting fps at 30 so far there have been no other problems playing the game
Over all with miner tinkering to proton and frame rate game plays fine so far haven't looked into controller settings I used keyboard and mouse if there isn't a compatible controller template it would be great if one was made that works with the steam deck controls to save on needing to use the keyboard and mouse. 👍🏻
its a good game and seems to run fine on steam deck with proton experimental so far without any problem arising.
although so far i have only played the game rift on steam deck for a short time it seems to run perfectly fine with proton experimental without any issue/problem arising so far, and although it may take a small amount of time to get used to how the mouse and keyboard layout work through the decks buttons in-game but im please to see the decks buttons do work as the mouse and keyboard using the defalt layout that was already choosen so you dont actualy need to use them unless you want to.
