Tinker Steps:Launcher: Heroic, Custom Proton: GE-Proton8-26, winetricks
In winecfg, disable both:
- "Allow the window manager to decorate windows"
- "Allow the window manager to control the windows"
This fixes the game minimizing and not restoring back. If a window displays, make sure the game settings are set to fullscreen mode.
