Runs perfectly with 3 people over internet
The only issue noticed was a slight delay in the yellow loot icon to appear when hovering over loot containers when compared to earlier experience with Windows. Did not test if this was also happening in single player.
Overall superb experience.
The game performed out of the box completely the same as when playing on Windows when joining multiplayer hosted by someone else. Did not test to host a game or play single player but nothing suggests they would run any differently.
Works out of the box just as well as on Windows, slow startup due to EA App
Other than taking forever to launch due to the EA App, the game seems to run perfectly out of the box. No mentionable difference to playing on Windows.
Native runs on X11 smoothly just by clicking play, when not counting in the multi-monitor setup issues, like running on wrong display and wrong refresh rate. On Wayland the native starts with black screen, couldn't find any launch parameters to make this work but forcing the game to run via Proton seems to make it work on Wayland on correct monitor with correct refresh rate.
Saves were not found after switching from native to Proton, as one could expect, so switching in middle of a campaign might not be wise.
