Completely Borked.
Proton 9 wont work, 10 wont work, older versions wont work. Game opens a window, then immediatly closes, classic incompatibility trait.
As long as they have a hardware to compensate for the performance loss in linux systems, sure.
Lost around 15-20 fps when comparing to its windows counterpart. So I had to tone down the settings and the performance came back, sure, but graphical fidelity was affected. On windows the standard settings I used were enough.
ONLY IF YOU INSTALL IT WITH D9VK on LUTRIS AND USE PROTON at the same time
Controllers have no been detected until lutris was envolved
Use Lutris installer after you install it on steam and only run the game through lutris's D9VK (or DXVK, whatever the more recent version of it) in order to have the game achieve 60fps or more. If you try and use purely proton with steam the game will lock on a very disappointing 24 fps. SO PAY ATTENTION, go to lutris installer, after you've downloaded the game on steam and have the game be "installed" there as well.
Use D9VK and PROTON
as long as u add the codes, its fine
Use the codes "PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 %command% " (without the quotes) in order to completely fix this.
If the whole sound problem is not adressed by adding the codes, then the game might crash
as of right now? if you want to play the game without audio...then its fine. but without any audio I consider any game to be incomplete.
to put it simply, theres no audio at all.
Hope theres a fix one day...
It won't even get past the first loading screen.
The initial animation of a skeletonized Desert Eagle pistol shooting and reloading was playing at a very low framerate. since its not a graphically intense animation, it means that the game probably wouldn't run very well even if it loaded.
