Tried https://github.com/FunkyFr3sh/cnc-ddraw to resolve resolution and performance issues.

It runs, but the performance on my machine without tweaks was not great, with the cursor flickering. I got it to run faster, but it ran unbounded and I lost a skirmish in 9 seconds. Perhaps if I'd spent more time tweaking the game would have run fine, but I decided I didn't want to spend the time and requested a refund instead.
