Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton10-1, protontricks
Install protontricks from flatpak/flatpost or another package manager. Start protontricks. In protontricks choose the game, then choose "standard wineprefix" -> "install Windows DLL" -> "vcrun2022" (the missing C++ Runtime). Then just click ok when an error message appears and the runtime will install in a few seconds. After installing the C++ Runtime the game starts and works like a charm.
Does not start without protontricks. After installing the missing C++ Runtime via protontricks everything works.

It works without any crashes for me. No tinkering. Just GE-Proton9-27 as my default in Steam.
