I had to wait about 5 minutes for the game to load on first play, but after that it works perfectly with no tweaks. Gameplay was smooth and lag free at highest possible resolution and graphics settings. Proton 4.2-5
Game runs flawlessly like a native application after some small tweaks. I had to install Vulkan support for AMDGPU. After that, the game would not launch past the initial splash screen. This was solved by copying all of the Windows *.dll files from the game's Win64Shared folder to the Win64 folder that contains the game's executable. To do this, right click on the game, go to Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files. Then click on the Bin folder. You will see the Win64 and Win64Shared folder there.
I had to solve the "Your GPU does not support DirectX 11" issue by installing the Vulcan Drivers for my AMD/Intel setup so that I was running the "amdgpu" drivers rather than the default "radeon." After that, the game started up fine except I had some issues with the mouse being visible. ALT + TAB in and out solved it. There's some a little static/snow on the graphics, but the gameplay is perfectly fine and I've enjoyed playing a lot so far with no crashes, stutters, or issues.
