Have a controller nearby. I mostly played campaign. Haven't tested multiplayer but I know no fixes are available for that yet.
[AMD Bonaire] Southern Islands (SI) and Sea Islands (CIK) Vulkan support must be enabled for those with Radeon 7000/ RX 200 Series cards in order to play. The game will not load even if you have the proper Vulkan libraries installed. Although I use Fedora, I mostly referred to these wiki entries for guidance:
The Shift key does not work. Binding to another is a temporary solution.
Expect frame delays. Performance issues would most likely be fixed as more updates come.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Setting the crowd detail to 'off' fixes the texture stretching that covered the entire arena, which made the game virtually unplayable. Until this is fixed, players with AMD video cards would have to settle playing to empty arenas. This could possibly be present on AMD GPUs since the other reports had no mentions of this and coincidentally they all had NVIDIA cards.
Audio commentary is unavailable however the crowd, menus, music, and player chatter are all there in-game.
Hiccups that stall the image for a couple seconds might occur.
It works good in Proton, not so great game for its outrageous price, inability to curb cheaters, and a Pay-to-Win model.
Almost all in-game commentary are missing. Microphone functionality is probably missing as well
Menu slows down at startup but quickly regains smoother transitions. A lot of frame skips happen at the park until a few minutes have passed.
