Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton10-10
Tested on singleplayer: I played this game to see if anything has changed since the previous issues reported on protondb were from 6 years ago. It seems like newer proton versions have fixed the issues.
I used Proton-cachyos as well as GE-Proton 10-10. They both performed pretty much identically with no issues.

Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: Proton 9.0-4
I installed and ran this with no additional commands.
This worked with Proton 9.0-4, GE 10-10 and Proton-CachyOs. I ran it with the in-game DLSS setting turned off and at quality mode. I didn't experience anything out of the ordinary.
