Feign worked fine for me.

I play in windowed mode at a lower resolution because I other things running in parallel. Fullscreen mode sometimes crashed when I went to the browser and came back.

Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: Proton-7.2-GE-2
The Ancients works out of the box, I did not have to do any tinkering to get it working with Linux. My default is the latest Glorious Eggroll version of proton, which was 7.2-GE-2 as of writing this report. But it also works fine with Valve's 7.0 proton release.
