Maybe if it doesn't crash like mine did.
First crash was when entering a cave. Second was when an enemy appeared. It looks like "cut scenes" cause the game video to crash, audio was still playing.
Unable to exit/kill game, Ubuntu was completely unresponsive requiring a hard reboot.
First few levels were ok, one level has rain/snow and I experienced severe performance degredation. To resolve I turned AA, and the graphics settings down. which improved performance, but there was still lag in controls and video.
Only at the start of the game, when I first move/look around the whole game freezes for 1-2 seconds, then everything works like normal.
When accessing the Rockstar Social club, everything works correctly the first time.
On every open after the first one, there is no mosue cursor shown, although you can move over links and click some still.
Tried for a couple hours to get game running
I was able to get game downloaded and origin installed. Would not launch.
Tried with Proton 5.0-7 and GE 5.5-1
Also tried installing via Lutris and various guides there.
