Tinker Steps:Set launch options
gamemoderun %command% -vulkan -high +mat_queue_mode 2 -threads 8 -forcepreload 1
Honestly haven't noticed any difference in gameplay from vanilla launch to my settings, it just runs like butter.

Dune: Awakening
I'm having fun, but I hope I can nail down the settings to stop the crashing. The game is fine and I really like Dune lore, so I no give up.
Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: proton-cachyos, Set launch options, Changed configuration
DXVK_CONFIG="/home/user/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/DuneAwakening/DuneSandbox/Binaries/Win64/dxvk.conf" game-performance %command%
Made a config called "dxvk.conf" like another user suggested here. That allowed me to get about 45 minutes of game time before it crashes, instead of, uh, less.
Performance:Slight Performance Problems
Slight sutters on my player character, turning down some settings fixes it somewhat, but once I'm rolling I don't really notice.
Instability:Frequently
It be crashing, about 45 minutes in is where I start to sweat.
Try it, maybe it's my hardware, though I have never had a problem with a game on Linux until this one.

One of the cutscenes played itself 1 frame per second thereabouts. Other than that, it runs
