Yes , for the most part it ran great . Just read my conclusion . There is a bug . Not sure if its related to Proton or anniversary edition

When trying to use the rope to cross the creek I had to revert to standard version of game . I could not grab the rope in the Anniversary Edition . The mouse pointer would not recognize it
If for any reason you cant click on an item to use it then switch from the anniversary edition to the standard version . I think I did this in the game so you dont have to restart it . Then when you get past it switch back for better graphics

Fun game but too many fights

When you close the game it is still running in the background
After I finish the game I and close it the game still runs in the background . You dont have to exit Steam like some say to stop it . Just go to your Library and you will have a button to stop the game on the games library page
