Had to move an old version of libpango into the game's folder in order for the game to run.

The native version crashes before starting the game, while the Windows version boots to a whitescreen with both Proton 8.0 and Proton-GE. I ended up playing the native version with an old version of libpango (1.43.0-1) which I had to move into the game's folder, as per this Itch.io comment.
