Aside from a black screen on startup that persists until a button is pressed, it runs fine.
Assigned some key presses to the back grips.
It seems to work fine, though I initialy thought it wouldn't run at first, due to a black screen upon launching, but I pressed the right trigger, and it somehow made it go away. Everything works fine after that. Some manual key binds are required, but it works well enough.

Mainly assigned Numpad 0 to left trackpad click.
Mainly certain workshop mods; not in the base game.
Game occasionally freezes when there are many NPCs active at once.
Some addons conflict; also crashes when there's too many elements on screen at once.
Most servers I manage to connect to crash the game or kick me out unexpectedly.
It's fun, but not yet optimized for Steam Deck. If you can get it working okay without crashing frequently, you should remap some controls to allow for key presses; otherwise, hook your Deck up to a TV or monitor and use a mouse and keyboard.
The only thing that might be an issue is exporting, but if you find and link the folder somewhere for easy access (for instance, pinning it in your file manager to "favorites"), then it's not as bad. I recommend desktop mode and a mouse/keyboard combo for best results.
Turned on "Laptop Mode" in the game settings.
Some menus struggle with the Steam Deck controls.
The game is almost perfect; it just doesn't respond well to the Deck controls when navigating some menus (like the Community Test section). Might want to try a different layout other than the default if you also have issues.
