when launching the game it prompts you to install a windows shader pack every time even if you already installed it, then it will force you to uninstall it the next time you launch the game the only choice is to uninstall it, the game runs the same with or without it installed. I switched to experimental proton and the prompt no longer pops up. You will not get 60fps on high or epic settings, however switch to low and the game still looks great and it will get 60fps (up to 90fps on low settings if you turn off frame rate cap).
