A few informational splash screens show TV Callibration Image instead of graphic. Text is readable. Not an issue.
I was using Proton experimental build as of 20 Feb 2021. I had none of the performance issues mentioned in reviews. Alt-TABing works. Game shuts down easily.
I make it past opening credits, autosave warning, to opening splash screen. Click any key to continue takes me to main menu. Can tinker with options. The moment I select 'new save location', the Children of Morta logo fades to a blue screen with stars. Dramatic music plays and game hangs as music comes to an end. I do not have access to a save game file, and am not sufficiently tech savvy to navigate suggested fixes.
First time, the game took longer than expected to load. initially I thought it might be hanging. After that, runs perfectly.
Works perfectly from launch. Was able to change graphics settings without mishap. No evidence of stuttering encountered by others.
