Was not starting out of the box so i wanted to find the issue. Starting steam with Proton Logs on already solved the issue somehow.

The game was working some time ago with flatpak steam but not anymore. EAC is not able to load.
While it was still working I was able to start the game but sometimes it had an issue where compiling the Proton shaders ate up all of the RAM. Just pressing skip at that stage did solve the issue and the game ran just fine.

Setting the graphics quality to high gives an initial stutter
If you experience that the game crashes after showing the "Loading Dependencies" screen, try updating steam and your graphics driver. Just running flatpak update
for flatpak steam resolved the issue for me.
