The intro cinematic doesn't play: you'll hear audio, but the screen will be black. Wait for this to pass and it'll take you to the menu.

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
This game didn't work for me until I realized the drive I was installing it to was NTFS. After a reformat and reinstall, it worked as reported by others.
