Uplay install fine, launcher als works. But the game does not start, sometimes the game tries to start with black screen then crashes.
While in fullscreen, when you idle away from your keyboard and let the auto-lock/display off feature happen in Ubuntu. Once logged back in the fullscreen window is reduced to 1/4th of the screen (in my case 4k screen), but the cursor reacted in the game as if it still was fullscreen in 4k, a forced restart of the game was needed. This can be avoided if you put the video settings to "Windowed", or just don't go AFK, or disable the auto-lock feature in ubuntu.
The Game Launcher is not able to patch itself with a new update, therefore you are stuck with the version you got whilst installing the game from steam. The game launcher is able to download the update for the launcher but not patch it, if the game launcher downloaded a patch and noticed you to restart the application in order to finish the patch... it wont start the launcher anymore and show an error that the launcher is not responding. in order to make the launcher work again, you have to delete the patch files it has downloaded to the launcher folder usually located in "/home/USERNAME/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/236850/pfx/drive_c/Program Files/Paradox Interactive" The folders to remove are ".cpatch" and the latest version in that directory, i.e "launcher-v2.2021.10" after removing those files you can start the launcher again, but the launcher will try to patch again as soon as you start it up so you have to repeat this process everytime you want to play the game
